Dale was inurned in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan, N.D., on July 10, 2019.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cottleville, Mo., with lunch following.
